POLARIS Vision Tap Connectors are designed for connecting between 2 and 10 wires/conductors. The Clear design allows for optimal wire/conductor placement and a more secure connection. The connector provides quick and easy installation while offering outstanding protection against the elements. The connectors are dual-rated for use with Copper and/or Aluminum Class B or C wires between 750 MCM and 14 American Wire Gauge (AWG) and is rated for 600 Volts. Traditional split bolts and other splice and tap connectors can be difficult and time-consuming to install and service. POLARIS Vision Tap pre-insulated electrical connectors eliminate the need for extra tools and insulating tape, with only a hex or slotted key and torque wrench needed for installation. The insulated product is pre-filled with oxide inhibitor to prevent corrosion and provide a low-contact resistance connection. The Clear insulation provides exceptional UV protection and is abrasion and chemical resistant. It’s not recommended for use with fine-stranded, extra-flexible wire (see POLARIS Grey series).
